Op DENY FLIGHT
Running from April 1993 to December 1995, Operation DENY FLIGHT was the UN/NATO joint air policing operation over Bosnia Herzegovina. Bosnian Serb helicopters constantly violated the no-fly zone because they knew they would not be engaged unless they were caught committing a hostile act. Here, a pair of RAF Tornado F3s intercept a Bosnian Serb Mil-8 Hip in the No-Fly Zone.
